Mission

Bambini Yoga Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization working within the public school system to offer programs to build confidence, encourage positive thoughtful decision making and to enhance the overall academic experience.  The 3 cornerstones of our curriculum include mindfulness, movement and meditation. The mindfulness component integrates social emotional learning strategies that focus on developing the whole child.  Social Emotional Learning (SEL) models support the belief that children perform better academically when they are given the tools to manage their emotions.  Positive impact is noted through an increase in supportive and positive relationships, the ability to show empathy, and higher levels of self awareness. Our curriculum integrates research based SEL exercises and mindful movement through the practice of yoga and meditation in every class.  Every child should be provided equal opportunity in the programs and resources available to them through their public school system.  Often times this is not the case.  The Bambini Yoga Project seeks to bridge that gap.
