Our Mission

Bambini Yoga Project's mission is to empower low income and underserved youth with the tools and resources necessary to navigate their academic and social experience with resilience and confidence.

 
 

Our school-based program helps

  • children learn self-regulation techniques so they can better navigate social and academic challenges with resilience.

  • to identify “bigger” emotions and practice responsive rather than reactive decision making. 

  • By building strength and increasing flexibility through movement, children feel better about themselves, are more eager to learn and gain a more positive self-image.

Scientific research shows that trauma and stress have a negative impact on developing brains and affect children's social relationships and the ability to excel academically.

 

Bambini Yoga Project offers custom tailored yoga and mindfulness programs to help children learn self-regulation techniques, emotional intelligence and have a more uplifting and positive academic experience.

 
 
 

Goals

To enhance the academic experience for children by helping them build strong bodies and strong minds.  To inspire student connection, creativity, empathy, compassion, and positivity in the classroom and beyond.  To help create opportunities that would not otherwise exist for many of these children.
